humorousI’ve been in a book slump， and this book took me out of that slump。 It had humor it had danger lots of passion。 I stayed up all night reading because it was that good。 It’s a definite recommendation for me。 The author did a spectacular job in giving you an idea what the characters are like the descriptions were perfect。 It filled me with joy。 I laughed。 Sometimes I shred tear， it was just perfection。 I can’t wait for the next book。

I am really not sure how to rate this one。 On the one hand， I just breezed through the pages。 I liked the main character （Sy included） and the story was real funny at times。 Like I'm sorry， but was there anyone who could take the name little Bob seriously？ And the author just kept running with it too？ I'm halfway to being convinced the whole book is actually one big joke。On the other hand， the characters often felt as if they were 13-year-old middle school kids。 They sure acted and talked like t I am really not sure how to rate this one。 On the one hand， I just breezed through the pages。 I liked the main character （Sy included） and the story was real funny at times。 Like I'm sorry， but was there anyone who could take the name little Bob seriously？ And the author just kept running with it too？ I'm halfway to being convinced the whole book is actually one big joke。On the other hand， the characters often felt as if they were 13-year-old middle school kids。 They sure acted and talked like those at times and if not 13-year-olds then at least as peanut brained NPCs。 However， they were all supposed to be 18+ and there was smut？？？ Like how are these characters in one paragraph trading insults like kids at the playground and a few sentences later suddenly having （semi-）mature conversations and/or having s*x？ I am suffering from a severe case of confusion。My confusion aside， I do feel like I have， unfortunately for me （or not）， already committed。 I can't stop reading now， because 1） Killian and 2） the fate of the world， and in that order。 Sooooo yeah， I probably will be reading book 2 and I am even somewhat looking forward to it。 I will just proceed to take this series as unseriously as possible。 。。。more
